Are signs from Spirit just a coincidence? | Signs from Ruby

I get asked a lot about signs from our loved ones on the other side. It’s such a valid question and an important one.

Our loved ones let us know they are okay by reaching us in the simplest, yet most powerful ways such as:

A feather in your path.
A song that plays at just the right moment.
A bird that sits a little longer than normal, like it’s watching you.
A dream that feels more like a visit.
A sudden warmth in your heart when you speak their name.

These are not coincidences. A coincidence is defined as something extraordinary or interesting that happens which seems like it was planned, but it was not. Something that cannot be explained.

But these moments are love… Your loved ones showing you, they are here.

Let’s talk some examples.

Examples of Signs from Loved Ones in Spirit

For as long as Ruby has been on the other side, she has been sending us batches of three feathers. This is beautiful because she has communicated through mediums multiples times that the number three is so important to her—like the three siblings she has. She has so much love for them. Honestly, I could build a bird with all the feathers I have found.

One time, I got out of my vehicle in a parking lot to go watch my youngest play volleyball. Right where my foot stepped onto the ground—a feather.  Beautiful! I picked it up and said, “Thank you Ruby.” I went and watched the volleyball game and when I went back to my vehicle, I naturally looked down where my foot would step to get into my vehicle and, you guessed it: a feather—again!
Yes, ugly cry!  I picked it up with so much thanks and gratitude.

Framed feathers from Ruby

On my first Mother’s Day without Ruby here in the physical, I walked outside and was talking (or crying) with my husband. I had asked Ruby for a sign that day, “Show mama you’re here with me.”

She did better than that…

We walked to the back of his shop to look at something, turned back around to walk to where we had been standing and I just happened to look up and you guessed it—a feather falling from the sky!

A bird had flown over and released a feather. It gently fluttered down, down, down, spinning around and floating in the breeze to where, you may ask? Right where we HAD been standing.  AND, it landed by a little angel feather I had not noticed.  That made me elated! My gift. Here is a picture of the frame I created with her gifts and put it with my kids’ Mother’s Day cards.

To add to this, I created some beautiful short phrases that I posted on social media just recently—which would hopefully bring comfort to the reader about our loved ones on the other side.  I looked on google to see if I could find an image that would work as a background for all of them but nothing was pulling me.

Finally, I asked AI to create me an image that I could use for these heartwarming words—something beautiful, soft, heavenly and special; that’s all I said. The image came back and it was fairly generic yet pretty. And what’s this?! Near the top, there was a feather falling from the sky! One feather. No bird. Just one feather.  Ahhh…thank you. (And crying with gratitude). I’ve included the picture here for you to see.

AI generated image that happened to include a feather!

I then, later that day, go onto social media and I stumble upon a Facebook group I belong to—a group of parents who believe their children are still with us. Each week, one of the moderators lets us know what the sign of the week is, and boy do our kids get busy! It is always so incredible.

The sign of the week is announced on Sunday, and so that Sunday, the sign of the week they posted was feathers! The same day I received that image from AI with the feather falling from the sky. Wow!! Beautiful.

Coincidence?  Nope, those are signs of love.

Twice now, Ella, my youngest daughter, has had her music suddenly and unexplainably change to the exact song she and Ruby last danced to. Out of nowhere! Goosebumps everywhere. “Ruuuuuuuubbbyyyyyyy!” she will yell, and in that moment she knows, her sister is right there with her.

Someday I will write a book (in fact, I’ve already started it!) and I will list so many of these signs that my family continues to receive from Ruby. And not just us—her cousins, her family, her friends, people she loves.

These signs bring my boys, Ella, Denis and I so much comfort.

Signs From Spirit Are Not Coincidences

We all get these incredible signs or so called “coincidences”.  But mediums like me, we don’t believe in coincidences…we believe in Spirit, helping us, guiding us, whispering and leaving little gifts for us. We believe everything happens for a reason.

Pay attention to these little gifts, these beautiful little, heart-warming moments and when you get them, say thank you. Know your loved ones are close, trying to get you to notice.

And also, please know, it is incredibly hard for Spirit to leave you little signs. They have to work really hard to get you to notice and that is why this is so important to acknowledge.

I always stand by my girl.  Always.

And now, she stands beside me.
Feather by feather.
Sign by sign.
With so much love.
